It’s hard to believe Gavin is three months old already! We were able to get some really great photos that capture his laid back demeanor. I have never seen an infant so relaxed and easy going.

They join Emma, Maddy and Penelope and are fitting right in! Sabrina was very sick and not doing so great when we got her. Lots of medicine and TLC has her on the mend. Fiona basically chose me and made sure I wasn’t leaving without her. Yes, for those keeping score at home, we now have 4 cats and 1 dog.

Emma LOVES her cats and oddly enough, they love her too. I have never seen cats that enjoy being around a dog but these cats are constantly around her. They sleep with her, follow her around the house and my favorite, they snuggle up to her and lay between her front legs to stay warm. So funny!

You may recall Emilie’s maternity photos that were drop dead gorgeous. Emilie brought Amyrah in yesterday for a quick portrait session. Amyrah really did not enjoy being bothered during her nap and she was quite vocal about it. Amyrah taught me a valuable lesson – never schedule just an hour for a newborn session! : )

Hey, what do I know? I don’t have any kids. I thought all babies do is sleep and look cute for the camera! : ) Here are a few of my favorites from the session yesterday!

My hope in the photo above was to capture Amyrah sleeping in Emilie’s arms but she would have nothing to do with it! I guess I don’t blame her…… I wouldn’t feel safe catching a few ZZZ’s while balancing precariously on my mom’s arm either. : )
