It was a dark and rainy afternoon when we met up with the Evans family at Fallasburg Park in Lowell, Michigan. Scott, Mary and their awesome Golden Retriever, Logan, arrived with a can-do attitude and they weren’t about to let a little rain and wind spoil the day. With the high winds we’ve had recently, most of the leaves have been stripped off the trees but we were still able to get some fall colors. Just as we arrived at the covered bridge, the rain really let loose so we ducked under the roof to let it pass through. I decided to play around with the flash since I had a captive audience and the result was a somewhat moody silhouette of Scott and Mary with Logan in the middle. I love how it turned out but the ‘regular’ photos are some of my favorites in 2009. Enjoy the short preview!
