Sarah and Ryan got married at one of my favorite churches to photograph, St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The reception was held at San Chez, one of my favorite restaurants and the first time I have ever photographed at that location. Given this was an Amy Carroll wedding, I knew it was going to be beautiful, fun and filled with lots of great moments! Amy always has amazing clients and I love getting to work with her! This cake was uber-cool. Not only did it look incredible, I’m not afraid to admit I had a couple of pieces. The topper was quite unique!
This is what we do when our friends from The Photobooth Company are at the reception. For the record, I absolutely hate being in front of the camera.
I love first dances. If I had to choose a favorite part of a wedding day to photograph, I would definitely choose the first dance.
