I was on the road again with Jen and this time we found ourselves at the Double Tree Hotel in Holland, Michigan. Angela and Billy, two crazy kids livin’ the dream in New York City, were getting married. Angela is going to become a force to be reckoned with in the publishing world and Billy will find his way to stage and screen. This is a truly amazing couple and they were surrounded by so many beautiful friends and family members. It is definitely a wedding I will always remember since I ran the gamut of emotions from laughing ’til my side hurt and tears running down my cheeks during the ceremony.
I am just getting started editing this wedding but I could not wait to post a few images. Given their creative backgrounds, I wanted to create a mood that, I hope, truly captures their essence. Billy has a bit of a Johnny Depp look to him and I could not help migrating toward a ‘film noir’ look when editing his photos. Angela has intense eyes, crazy red hair (crazy in an out of this world way) and the colors she chose for her wedding were the perfect complement to who she is as a person.
