Merry Christmas everyone! We are out in Denver for the week spending the holiday with Rhonda’s family. Being right downtown, there is no snow so it feels kind of weird. However, we can see the mountains so that, for some reason, makes for more of a holiday feel. We can see Union Station and the Millenium Bridge from the condo so I have been spending a lot of time pointing the camera at both. I can also see REI and it beckons me on a daily basis. I’m kind of glad we don’t have an REI in Grand Rapids because I would go broke feeding my addiction to fleece.
We went to the Denver Zoo last night to check out the holiday lights. It was cold and crowded but the lights were pretty cool. I didn’t bring a tripod so everything is shot at a high ISO….. but with the new camera, even ISO 6400 looks great!!
