I had the absolute pleasure and honor of photographing Pria and Raj’s wedding over the Thanksgiving holiday. This was my first time photographing an Indian wedding and I was excited when Jen (JK Photography) and Amy (Amy Carroll Photography) asked if I would like to assist them. It was a 16 hour day for me but worth every second to be part of such a beautiful occasion.
I have just started going through the images but couldn’t wait to post a few here on the blog. If you think these are good then just wait until you see the photos Jen and Amy will be posting on their blogs in the very near future. My primary role was setting up lighting, moving equipment and doing whatever it took to ensure Jen and Amy got the best photos possible. When there was time, I picked up my camera but mostly spent the day playing witness to one of the most amazing wedding ceremonies.
Raj arriving at the Gurdwara. He arrived on horseback with his family dancing behind him to the beat of a drum. Very colorful and full of energy!
Pria is a stunning bride. So much detail in her attire.
Raj listens as the Granthi begins the ceremony.
Pria’s father beamed with pride the entire day.
This is my favorite photo from the day.
