Emilie and I went into this shoot with the idea of turning the traditional maternity image on its head by adding a hint of allure to this form of photography. That’s not to say that traditional maternity photography is boring because it certainly is not. We just wanted to create a hybrid mix of maternity images with a hint of boudoir. The goal being that pregnancy is sexy and a time when women have that certain glow that makes them irresistible. Based on the photos below, I think we succeeded with pulling off the concept!! A big thanks to Emilie for her willingness to make this concept a reality.
